At The Curious Academy, our programs are built around children — not grade levels, not timelines, and not one-size-fits-all expectations.

Each offering reflects our belief that learning should be flexible, engaging, and responsive to the individual child. Whether students are working within mixed-age groups, exploring interests through inquiry, or progressing at their own pace, every program is intentionally designed to honor how children learn best while maintaining high academic standards.

Curious Kids PreK program offers a gentle, part-time introduction to school for young learners.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00–11:30

Our PreK program focuses on helping children learn how to be students—building confidence, independence, and comfort in a structured environment. Children develop essential social-emotional skills, fine motor strength, teamwork, and familiarity with classroom routines.

Academic learning is developmentally appropriate and play-based, introducing foundational skills such as letter and number recognition, counting, shapes, and name writing without pressure or overwhelm.

K-2nd Pod

The Curious Academy’s K–2 program is a full-time, holistic learning environment designed for families seeking an alternative to traditional school.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30–2:30

Our approach prioritizes the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally. Lessons are adapted to each learner’s strengths, needs, and learning style. Hands-on activities, nature integration, and student-directed themes are core components of the learning experience.

This program offers structure without rigidity, supporting children as they grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence.

3rd-5th Pod

The Curious Academy’s 3rd–5th grade program blends academic structure with flexibility and exploration.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30–2:30

Students complete individualized online academic coursework tailored to their level in each subject. Families may choose a secular or Christian-based academic platform, while Discovery Academy remains a secular learning environment.

Beyond academics, students engage in inquiry-based units, interest and hobby exploration, and project-based learning. The program emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and independence—skills essential for lifelong learning.
